Fri 1.5.2020     Departure from St. Petersburg by train "Allegro" at 06:40

Fri 1.5.2020      Arrival in Finland at the Vainikkala railway station,                   transfer to Savonlinna

          Visit to the Veijo Rönckenen sculpture park

          mystical  a park of 450 mesmerizing concrete sculptures               (Parikkala village)

          Check in at the hotel, in the evening planning meeting with the guide at the reception

 

Sat  2.5.2020     Bus excursion to the ice cave MUMMI-TROLEY

          Duration  excursions - all day. Check out at 8 am.

          Visit to the fabulous snow-covered cave with ice sculptures MUMMI-TROLEY.

          An exposition of unique ice sculptures is presented in the cave,                   illustrating  plots of the well-known book about Mummies in Finnish                 writer Tove Jansson. Both children and adults will have an unforgettable experience              impressions of visiting this magical cave. Beautiful illumination,                sound effects and expertly executed sculptures in ice guarantee              wonderful photos and great mood!

          After visiting the cave, you will find a comfortable SPA center for the whole family.

     

Sun 3.5.2020     City tour

          Picnic on the island of Sulosaari

          The guide will tell you about the history of the city, its attractions and unique            local seal - Saimaa seal, listed in the Red Book. Everyone will have            the opportunity to fry sausages and drink hot coffee by the fire.

 

Mon 4.5.2020      Free day

      Boat safari to explore the Saimaa seal **

 

Tue 5.5.2020      Excursion to the LUSTO Forest Museum (Punkaharju village)

          The tour begins  with an exciting 30 minute train ride.

          In the morning we visit the LUSTO Museum - the State Museum of Culture            forestry and forestry research center. In the forest museum               interesting to everyone, regardless of age, profession and nationality.

 

Wed 6.5.2020     Excursion to  SPA center "Yarvisudan" (Rantasalmi settlement)

          Visit to the spa center in the medieval style "Yarvisudan"  

          Guests  in the recreation center "Yarvisudan" has been accepted since the 17th century. Within the territory of               of the complex, you can still see the carefully preserved buildings of those times.            The group will visit a modern rock spa complex, opened in 2017,              whose unique design  fits perfectly into the nature of the lake region.

 

Thu 7.5.2020      Free time in the morning. Excursion programs for an extra charge.

          In the afternoon, transfer to the Lev Tolstoy train (Vainikkala station)
